Walker slips down the leaderboard
SOPHIE Walker slipped down the leaderboard on the final two days of action at the Tenerife Open de España Femenino to finish joint 56th.
The Humberston golf professional had got herself into a good position at the halfway stage with rounds of 73 and 71 on the par 72 course.
But she struggled on days three and four, carding rounds of 76 on each occasion.
It meant the 28-year-old finished well down the field, and only picked up 1,242 euros for her efforts.

In her final round yesterday, Walker dropped six shots on her opening five holes, but hit back with a flurry of birdies to add some respectability to her score.
Australian Stacey Keating birdied the first extra hole of a sudden death play-off to secure her maiden Ladies European Tour victory, just pipping German Caroline Masson to the 52,500 euro top prize.
