Walker has solid start in Spain
HUMBERSTON pro golfer Sophie Walker tees off in the third round of the Tenerife Open de España Femenino today after comfortably making the halfway cut.
The 28-year-old carded an excellent one under par score of 71 at Las Americas Golf Course yesterday to leave her even par for the tournament heading into the weekend.
Her round followed Thursday's opening 73, and included three birdies and two bogies.
Walker starts today on the tenth hole at 9.40am, playing in a group with Denmark's Malene Jorgensen and South Africa's Connie Chen.

Australian Nikki Garrett made a final-hole birdie to retain her overnight lead at seven under – one shot clear of the field and seven ahead of Walker.
