Weather update: Risk of further snow but milder conditions on the way to North East Lincolnshire
After days of freezing weather, milder conditions are on the way to North East Lincolnshire at the weekend according to the Met Office.
However, freezing overnight temperatures mean the borough's gritting crews will continue to treat surfaces as the risk of ice persists.
There is also a chance of further snowfall on Friday though it is likely to later turn to rain.
Jason Longhurst, head of development, said: “We are forecast some milder temperatures over the weekend, however before then we still have some very low temperatures and tough conditions to deal with.
Father's Day will soon be upon us, so Don't Forget....

“Away from the main roads, there is still a great deal of slush which is freezing overnight and causing problems in the early mornings.
“Motorists and pedestrians need to take extra care when out and about, especially on these secondary roads.
“As soon as this initial cold snap of the winter is over we will immediately turn our attention to potholes and encourage residents to tell us about any potholes using the dedicated reporting line.
"The entire adopted highway network is also systematically inspected with repairs being prioritised.”
Potholes can be reported by telephoning (01472) 324500. Residents are asked to provide as much information as possible, including the location of the pothole, the name of the road, the area, whether it is outside a property or at a junction and the approximate size.
