THE countdown to the naming of the victorious couple of Win A Wedding has begun.

Yesterday, our eight finalists faced the judging panel at a special event at the Ashbourne Hotel.

They were quizzed on a number of topics and asked questions about themselves, to allow the judges to find out more about each contender.

The Grimsby Telegraph was there to film their answers – and you can view them on the website.

As reported, the winning couple will be announced at the Lincs Wedding Show on Sunday.

Featuring 75 stands, the event, organised by Pronuptia Grimsby, will take over Grimsby Auditorium.

The Win A Wedding victors will be announced at 2.30pm from the Ashbourne Hotel stand.
