Good luck from The Philippines boys. I will be kicking every ball and winning every tackle with you from across the miles on Sunday. I saw both triumphs at '98 and the disappointments in Cardiff and again at the 'new' Wembley in '08. Unfortunately I have to will you to victory from the other side of the world this time, but I am confident you will do us all proud and lift the trophy. And come season end you WILL have written yourselves into Grimsby folklore with a 'double' triumph as in '98. This town never forgets it's heroes. The past 2 weeks means nothing now. It is the team going into the play-offs in form that invariably does well, NOT the form team with 10 games still to play! As a lifetime supporter who was at Blundell Park when we had our lowest ever league attendance (I think it was in May '69 v Brentford!) I ask yo to go out there for the rest of the season, express yourselves without fear and make our town proud. You will forever be heroes!”
