“CCTV would be great if the law dealt with these creatures by dishing out severe punishment to fit the crimes.
However the magistrates, whom incidentally are unqualified people, are so lenient with the criminals that there is no justice in our law system left.”

“I do think maybe c c t v coverage would be an efective way of catching scum like this but looking at this idiot it's hardly going to prevent it happening in the first place as he so obviously doesn't care that he's been caught on camera...possibly more than once by the sounds of it. It will only serve to help clear up the mess people like this make, the poor woman has still been attacked in her own home.
Unfortunatly we live in an age of ever growing crime of this nature..being extra vigilant, having spy holes/door chains/door alarms maybe community meetings to discuss effective ways of being more safe....I know it's not something we should have to face but in this day we do have to face problems of this nature and like it or not we have to take the measures in order to prevent it in the best way we can.
I hope this womn is ok and recovering from her ordeal...although emotionally I am sure this is not an easy thing to do.

“This looks like someone who has been riding around Barton recently. And who knicked something from the Factory Shop and rode off on his bike. We are on the lookout for him.”

“This is the result of Tony Blairs freedom for all (except the victims) and prosperous society.
Anther crime which gives a reason why hanging should be brought back.
This is probably also another re-offender treated ever so lightly because of his poor upbringing and abuse while he was a child.”
