A woman was found dead after a suspected carbon monoxide (CO) leak in a ground-floor flat in Cleethorpes.

The Humberside Fire and Resuce Services were called to a house in Barcroft Street, Cleethorpes on Wednesday (February 1) evening, after reports that a CO alarm was sounding, they  entered the property and found the body of a woman in a ground-floor flat.

In an upstairs flat a man was rescued, Humberside fire service said.
