Chris Rodger, of Home Heating Services, said: "We got five jobs from people calling after seeing us in the paper."
The company, which formed only a year and half ago, provides all aspects of plumbing and heating services, including maintenance and repairs.
The firm is Gas Safe registered and offers a five-year warranty on all installation work.
Chris said: "Trusted Traders is a good option for customers. It shows that we are not cowboys.
"I would definitely recommend it to other companies."
Steve Brown, owner of SMB Welding said: "We can weld anything from gates, fences and staircases to fire escapes.
"I don't have the overheads of the big firms so I can do the small jobs and the bigger jobs at low prices."
Being both mobile and workshop-based allows the company to suit all needs.
"We produce a very high standard of work and offer a personal, friendly service."
Steve likes to challenge companies who say they will better any quote.
He said: "I would like to see them try to beat my quotes."
He believes the Trusted Traders scheme is a brilliant idea and has received a lot of trade from it.
"It's really important to know who are the good traders," he said.
"I would definitely recommend it to other companies."
Cleethorpes Computer Centre has also hailed the campaign a success.
Simon Tasker, owner, said: "Some people have mentioned it, which tells me they have seen it in the paper.
"Customers can be sure of our reputation.
"We offer services that you just can't get in the larger companies.
"We repair computers in store, whereas large stores just sell computers and have to send them away to be fixed."
The local business also sells laptops and only stocks genuine components.
He said: "The stock we have is always up-to-date with the latest technology on the market."
Simon would recommend other companies sign up – but with a stipulation.
He said: "I would recommend it to other businesses as long as they are confident in their ability."
