FULL details of a three-day world music festival in North East Lincolnshire have now been announced.

As reported in last week's What's On, the World Music Festival will get under way on Friday, March 5, and continue throughout the weekend.

Local and national artists are to perform at a number of venues, bringing music from across the globe to the festival, which is organised by North East Lincolnshire Council's Art Development Team.

The events are as follows:

The Zagros Band will be performing exciting instrumental Eastern European and Middle Eastern-influenced tunes at St James' Church, Grimsby, from 7.30pm. At 8.30pm, Baka Beyond, one of the finest danceable bands performing today, who mix uplifting African and Celtic music in equal measure, will also perform at St James' Church.

Doors open at 7pm and tickets to see both bands cost £10 in advance or £12 on the door. Tickets for youngsters aged under 12 cost £5 in advance or £6 on the door.
