Their own mentor, Louis Walsh told them their performance proved there were now two boy bands in the competition.

And Ella, who for the first time had a dance routine to perform to her track "You Got The Love", bowled them over with yet another stunning performance.

But Gary Barlow wasn't impressed with the routine, and said the "Steps-style" dance moves had "cheapened her act".

It prompted a row between the judges, with the other three pointing out that she is only 16.

Nicole Scherzinger told her "I am trying to find something to critique you on, but I just can't."

Louis Walsh said: Gary Barlow, she has the X Factor. In five years' time she will be an international superstar and we will be watching your clip back."

The Tetney teenager told host Dermot O'Leary: "I think I just wanted to have a bit more fun tonight and feel 16."

The results of the public vote will be revealed on Sunday night.

They will be posted on here, and also see Monday's Grimsby Telegraph.

“Just watched the video of Ella and she was great. She is also bringing recognition to the area. I do not watch X Factor as the show is rubbish and in a years time most of the people on it will never be heard of again. Of course there are exceptions and i hope Ella is one of those as i think she has a great voice. I will follow her progress in the Telegraph and wish her good luck”

“Let's hope she has people close enough to her to support her through failure or success.
