X Factor: Ella Henderson was never top of the voting table - but she is still shining on
VOTING figures have revealed that Tetney X Factor starlet Ella Henderson, was never top of the table – but it hasn't stopped her from living like a celebrity.
X Factor bosses have released details of how the public voted each week and it shows that 16-year-old Ella's highest rankings were in weeks one and two, when she came third.

X FACTOR FINALISTS: X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger with finalists James Arthur, right, and Jahmene Douglas.
Ahead of her was cruise ship singer Christopher Maloney, who was in the lead for seven weeks until ultimate winner James Arthur took over in week eight – the week after he found himself in the bottom two with Ella on the night she left the competition.
It seems District3, which includes Cleethorpes- born Micky Parsons, were struggling for votes in the first couple of weeks – but became more popular in week five – being third favourite.

As reported, Ella was the bookies' favourite for weeks, until she slipped into second place, just before she was voted out, behind Jahmene Douglas.
But as the girl who went furthest in the show this year, she's in high demand.
She's appeared in magazines – gracing some of the covers – and on Monday, she nervously took part in the UK's very first catwalk on ice by very.co.uk at the Tower Of London.
The 16-year-old singer stepped out on the slippery catwalk wearing a pink jumper and a leather-look skirt with two men helping her along.

Ella slowly made her way down the runway past a freezing cold audience that included cast members from The Only Way Is Essex and Made In Chelsea.
She also attended Downing Street yesterday for the Starlight Charity Christmas Party where she met Chancellor George Osbourne and joined children with serious and terminal illnesses to celebrate Christmas.
And Ella's dad, Sean Henderson, revealed his daughter will fly to Ireland for a live appearance on The Saturday Night Show this weekend, a popular Irish chat show hosted by Brendan O'Connor on RTÉ One.
Sean said: "She is really excited about going to Ireland for the first time and she will be singing live on TV."
Asked about her plans for Christmas, Sean said: "Ella just wants to relax with her family over Christmas and is looking forward to 2013."

“@DreamyGY - I'm with Adele and Myleene Klass, et al, on this one; Ella's a fantastic singer. Her style is less "edgy" and angst-filled than the eventual winner, maybe. Still, plenty of music-lovers will buy her songs, I predict. ;)”

“I thought Ella was good, but I didnt think she was fantastic. I got more bored of her each week. Quite surprised that Christopher was top for so long though.”

“I'm a bit bemused by the voting statistics. Christopher Maloney rarely went out of tune, and he was loud; he was like a good Karaoke singer. His voice simply didn't have any soul to it - he couldn't communicate any meaning or emotion. By contrast, Ella Henderson is an amazing soulful singer with a soaring, stunning voice (check out her version of Rule the World, for example), despite occasional (very slight) flaws. Chris's popularity has nothing to do with him being "better" than other competitors. Some voters thought he was being victimised, others responded to his shaking and championing of his nan, others were proud Liverpudlians, perhaps some people even appreciated his bland, flat singing!
I'm now looking forward to Ella releasing an album. She might have more longevity than any of the other performers this year. She's as good as Leona Lewis, and she can still get better.”

“The only way you would get a more realistic opinion would be to have a freephone number or the option to vote for free on their website.”

“"Christopher Maloney, who was in the lead for seven weeks"
Is it just me that thinks working in a telephone call center, could give you a slight advantage, when you are relying on telephone votes?”
