Leading online betting comparison site, Oddschecker.com revealed following last week's live show, Ella has shifted to best price 7/4 to win the show, marginally longer odds than rival Jahmene Douglas at 6/4.

She led the betting market consistently since the judges' houses but unsurprisingly, she's still at a whopping 40/1 to be the next contestant eliminated.

However, Ella's mum is worried as she thinks fans persume she is safe in the competition being one of the favourites to win the show.

Michelle Henderson from Tetney said: "No one is safe in this competition, you never know what will happen, so people should pick up their phones and get voting for Ella.

"I had a horrible feeling last week she would be in the bottom two, but luckily she wasn't.

"I am quite worried about her song choice for this weekends performance which is about "Guilty Pleasures".

"I don't know what she is going to do with the song but I do know she will put her best spin on it."

“Pretty girl, good voice, but ultimately another one out of the talent destroying X Factor stable. If she wins she will disappear within a few months, if she loses she will probably become a star.”

“She's good but not that good that she will win. Jahmene will be the winner of this show. He is amazing!”

“Stark reality of this thing is that whilst Ella is no doubt very very talented I doubt very much this young lady will win .....
    Why ?
Simple she will not carry the so called popular yoof vote ....

    BUT .....

Whilst the winners will have a shelf life of about 18 months ( at best ) this young lady is a star for the future

    Good luck”

“Ella your singing talent is the best! You burst onto the scene as a 16 year old......don't let them make you grow old before your time by hiding your age behind plastered on face paint and old clothes. You are young and that's what makes you so special. Win the competition as a 16 year old.”

“problem is you have the other ones from essex and liverpool etc big citys more people etc etc and they will all be voting for them and this area isnt popular at all and not as big so she will not win. Sorry but its true”

“This competion is a moment in time, and ultimately just a stage for someone of Ella's ability. She is the only genuinely world class singer on the show, comes across well and 16 years of age... world at her feet. X Factor is a rediculaous pantomime, the bigger picture is about how her career is managed for the next decade. I am an Adele admirer and as a model of what can be achieved Elle has to take great heart, particularly given that in my mind Ella is better.

Good luck Ella, not I think that you'll ever need it.”

“Its a bit sad having to beg for votes !!! To be honest my favourite auditions were Ella and Jahmene, they both gave me goosebumps, but sadly from that first audition Ella has gone down hill fast. What happened to her, why did they do that to her ? They made her look a mess, from the clothes she has been wearing to the horrendous hair and that dreadful black eye makeup, and most importantly her singing, because that is what this is supposed to be about! They have now improved her clothes/hair/make up, but sadly I think it is too late to save her voice, she now shouts, its dreadful, the goosebumps have faded fast, but Jahmene, well he has just gone from strength to strength and he will get all of my votes along with many, many others I am sure. Jahmenes attitude has never changed but Ella has got herself on the pedistal and needs bringing down now, her attitude isnt good, she was so rude about one of the top judges! hmmmm american star versus local 16 year old - you choose !!”
