X Factor star Ella Henderson speaks of her pride at being a Grimsby girl
X FACTOR star Ella Henderson has spoken of her pride at being a Grimsby girl – so let's show her how proud we are of her.
As reported, the 16-year-old singing sensation from Tetney, is one of Tulisa's final three and will be competing for your votes in the live shows from this Saturday.
Also making it through to the finals and battling for your support, is Cleethorpes-born Mickey Parsons – aka one third of boy band GMD3 – who wowed Louis with their close harmonies and easy chemistry.
And the boys are now appealing for your help in choosing a new name, after guest judge Sharon Osbourne said she thought it "sounds like a virus".

Mickey said: "The original name was the letters of our first names with a three for the number of us in the group, but people keep thinking we are called GMTV.
"It also means we always have to stand in Greg, Mickey and Dan order and we keep forgetting so that's confusing everyone as well."
As reported, since Ella's first appearance on the show when she sang a self-penned song about her late granddad Bill, she has caused quite a stir – and superstar Cher even tweeted about her after she sang Believe at Bootcamp.
Ella, who is a massive Amy Winehouse and Frank Sinatra fan and who said Olly Murs and Leona Lewis are her favourite X Factor contestants – said: "You can't beat Grimsby's support. I am so proud to be from this place.
"I believe that I have a lot to give and I'm fully dedicated to my music. I know that by doing this show I'm going to grow as a performer and my confidence will build up each week."
Of course, the Grimsby Telegraph will be following their journey every step of the way – and now we want to know what you will be doing to support them both in this year's competition. In your paper this week, we will be printing a free poster for you to display and printing your messages of support to Ella and Mickey.
To submit yours, all you have to do is visit www.thisisgrimsby and fill in the online form. The best will then be printed in the paper.
In the meantime, let us know what you're up to.
If you're heading down to London for the live shows, holding an X Factor party or have memories of Ella or Mickey growing up that you would like to share, we would like to hear from you.
And, of course, don't forget to vote on Saturday.
