WALTHAM Windmill is the subject of this week's Then And Now feature.

Dave Strickland, who supplied the modern view, said: "Waltham's famous and magnificent six-sailed windmill, happily preserved in working order, is now the centrepiece of the Waltham Museum of Rural Life, a cluster of leisure facilities which includes a miniature railway in the grounds."
