“In other words let me buy your house at a way below market value and allow you to pay me rent.”

“We've helped people by paying full market value where we can although this isn't always the case. All we do is work out how we can help people. If that is to genuinely give them a low, fast cash offer and move them into more affordable rented accommodation then yes, it stops the pain of repossession and them losing everything. In actual fact, the FSA have stopped the situation you've described and if you buy someones house they cant then rent it back from you”

“Yes I make a profit, I plan to hold the houses I buy for a number of years so they will go up in value and I get a small income per month from it but I do this because I feel my money is safer/working harder in property than it is in the bank. If I'm buying houses anyway I don't see this as being a vulture; I can either buy it before or after someones been repossessed, what I'm trying to do is to save these people from the bailiffs and locksmith turning up and turfing them out of their own homes”
