“At what point do management at the council start accepting responsibility for cock up after cock up, NELC are beyond jokes now
Scartho Baths and following land sale
'light' with the facts regading Balfour betty
property sales kept from the public eye (unless you are a local property developer)
Freeman street regeneration
Renaissance
corrupt bailiffs
and now this shambles, literature??? well Nov 5th is coming.
Oh and they drone on about applying for grants (taxpayer funds) from central govt, well how about lowering business rates / council taxes which will then allow private business to best decide how to invest the money they have earned, not some clueless 'develpoment' or 'economic' so and so from the council who have absolutely no idea how the private sector operates.”

Ҧ Well observed, 'Beagleyes' -- saw it meself and thought 'par for the course' of dregs.
¶ 'speech24' -- I wish I could say "well summed-up", but obviously I can't -- the list might even be endless! May I add a few and invite others to do same?
## Let's remember that they also [secretly?] have eyes on a Barrett's Field [a.k.a. "BarrATTS (no apostrophe) Recreation Ground" acc. to NE£incs Council] sale for housing development.
## Let's remember that they sank the heritage fishing smack 'Esther' through neglect -- come ON, apart from not maintaining the vessel, are they not aware of accepted practice in the maritime world where 24-hr watchmen are employed and there for a reason???? Remember they have [HAD!] TWO vessels moored TOGETHER on the west side of Alexandra Dock - South Arm -- on the backside of the Fishing Heritage Centre? Why doesn't the centre have the benefit of a waterfrontaspect? I'm sure you know.
## Let's remember that the destruction of the 'Lincoln Castle' could have been avoided -- and latterly prevented -- under a lease with seven years to run that the owner had WITH US via the council. Remember, this was listed as a national heritage treasure, acknowledged internationally. Surely, 'somebodies' must pay!? They can certainly afford it.
I give up. The list's too long. Pass to you, chaps [m&f.]
E.&O.E!!”

“Not only that 'Grimlander', I know for a fact that an international expert in marketing, trade development and transfer of technology who was a rostered adviser to the UN Food & Agriculture Organization and Commercial Director of an intergovernmental organization sponsored by the Canadian government with offices in all the continents, offered his time FREE, I repeat, FREE, to NE Lincs Council and their marketing staff.”

“Just a thought on this branding thing .......
If Cllr shaw has decided to drop the greater grimsby brand quietly ( and Im afraid I do agree with this one) who or what is actully branding our area at this moment in time?
What monies will our leader be using to promote each area ( which makes sense )
Thought Nelc was strapped for cash
Now how about giving us some transparency Cllr shaw”
“So as we have yet another failed branding exercise for our area quietly dropped to the tune of £60,000 plus how much does Nelc intend to spend on branding all three areas now
What actully is being done to brand the area at this moment in time ?
If the branding of great grimsby is being dropped can we expect a reduction in head count by those promoting the greater grimsby brand
Why did the branding fail
What's going to happen to all that literature that was printed”
