“All the time. It's bad enough having this rammed down your throat repeatedly in every advert break on TV but then they're phoning you too. I don't understand how they can get away with doing this... I've even started receiving these calls on my mobile!”

“If you are registered with TPS then it is illegal for UK companies to make this kind of "cold call". If you can get the name of the company then you can report them to Ofcomm.

Calls originating from companies from outside the UK aren't subject to this law, and most of the calls come from Indian call centres. However, if the call centre is working on behalf of a British company then get the name of whomever that are making the clls for and report them.”
