Seems fair enough to me but did you forget to tell the telegraph how much Nelc paid in fees and costs to get to the stage of outsourcing services ?
Would Cllr Burnett like to go on record and inform local people how much was spent ?
Come to think of it how much has been spent with Betty Balfour since the contract started and more importantly how much is this exercise really saving Nelc
Are the expected savings being clearly met and if so this must be a good news story so why not share these cost savings with the general public like wise if savings are NOT being achieved then surely as local residents we should be told of the bold steps Nelc are taking to stem such under achievements

With Top Town Market under performing , anchor tenants leaving high profile venues and certain buisness centres gushing revenue month on month and car parking revenue below expectations it's not looking that good for Betty Balfour - this together with the questionable sale of the Salvation Army hostel doesn't stack up well does it -
And now we have information that fees of £600,000 are to be paid for the new sports complex - just remind us all Cllr Burnett who actully put together the first phase of the design service ( Betty Balfour by any chance ?)
Whilst we are on the subject of the new sports complex - any reason why only one company bid for the work ? - still I'm sure there is a full audit trail to ensure that everything was above board and Nelc would expect its partners to adopt the same exacting standards as Nelc operates at all times
