“yes of course silly, lets 'hammer the goverment' bound to do the trick. A lot easier said than done. The problem with making getting 'scroungers/layabouts' into work a priority, is that there's just as many people who are out of work not through choice. I've been out of work more than i've been in work over the past 3 years, and i hate the thought of being branded a scrounger when i go to sign on. May i suggest clivespanner actually looks into the availability of jobs before he mounts his horse.
I get the point you're making elsawill, £80 is a lot to be paid out of a small wage, but rules are rules. When these people are trained to do these jobs they must be informed on the procedures.”

“Why? why do minimum wage earners deserve my sympathy? If they are being victimised and under paid then the last thing they need is pity. The only way to help these people is to hammer the government to reduce the cost of living and increase the minimum wage. By sympathising with low earners we are giving the government a nod to say we arent that bothered about the way you are screwing the country over. Getting nonworkers off thier setees and into graft is the biggest priority, by reducing the payments to scroungers we can then re-divert funds towards helping low income families and ease the burden on the state system.”
