“I've heard of the terms TRAWLING and TROLLING. They sound very similar but what is the difference?

I heard someone remark once that trolling is an unpleasant pastime but surely that could never be ascribed to trawling.”

“"Is there any truth that, the mini roundabout and speed bumps are being installed on Broadway Laceby Acres. With only a small minority voting for the proposed plans I was under the impression it was still under review."”

“This is the result of the review! The plan that was stopped by Cllr Wheatley was a much better scheme and did not involve any speed bumps! After a 2 year delay this is the best he can come up with.

I'm pleased I don't live in Broadway - the sound of vehicles going over the speed bumps will be horrendous! The people in the area only have themselves to blame - after all they are the ones that voted for Wheatley and Labour!”

“Trolls, on the internet, are people who post deliberately controversial or contentious statements with the intention of causing an argument.

People who trawl the internet are those who are looking for information. Usually they are surfers but with a more directed approach to what they are looking for.”
