“I do wish people would consider their neighbours when putting up Christmas lights outside their homes. I have no objection at all to tasteful gently twinkling lights, they are lovely,what I do object to are the garish coloured ones on crazy flashing modes. They completely do your head in when you have to sit and watch them out of your window all evening. The people who put them up don't usually have this problem as they can't even see them themselves! Oh well, looks like another Christmas season with the curtains tightly closed.”
