Top-flight duo net victories in Grimsby & District Senior Netball Winter League
MRS Protherm and Pro-Smart both netted their first victories of the campaign in the Grimsby & District Senior Netball Winter League's top flight.
Week three saw many of the teams in the top two divisions back in action after the weather decimated much of the previous week's programme.

And MRS Protherm took full advantage with an excellent 23-14 win over Heath & Hygiene in Division One.
However, Heath took the first 10 minutes by storm, with goal-defence (GD) Janine Cyborn defending well, and centre (C) Jo Turner making use of her speed and ball skills.

That led Heath to an early lead, but Protherm dug deep and a gripping first half eventually ended with the teams all square at 8-8.
MRS Protherm changed their shooting positions around and this strategic swap proved to be an excellent decision.
Goal-attack (GA) Gina Ryder fed wonderful balls to her shooter (GS) Amy Allenby, who ensured those passes didn't go to waste with some superb finishing.
Jess Tilbury (C), wing-attack (WA) Nicki Williams and wing-defence (WD) Sharon Tong played the ball around the court beautifully.
And with the sharp defending from Beth Mascall (GD) and goalkeeper (GK) Kath Campbell Stephenson, they took the full time whistle as victors by a score of 23-14.
Also in the top division, Pro-Smart and Port of Grimsby battled out a thriller, with just one point separating them at the final whistle.
This close match was as even as the 15-14 score suggests, with both teams making few errors, and sharp shooting on show at both ends of the court.
Port of Grimsby's Sam Rowles (GD), once again sparkled, but could not save her team from losing by one goal, with Pro-Smart taking the win.
In Division Three, GSA Environmental continued their strong start to the season.
Having narrowly missed out on being top goalscorers last week by just one goal, this time they achieved the accolade by netting 34 goals. They also had the best defence, conceding only eight goals so far.
