Landowners behind the 64-acre Millennium Park housing development will meet residents between 9am to 1pm at Humberston Country Club.

PLANS: An artist's impression of how the 400-home Millennium Park development could look.
Residents largely oppose the plans following an influx of applications on greenfield sites in the area.
The Hewson family has dedicated half the area to green space, including two lakes and eight woods.
Come along to our wedding fare, Sunday 23rd June 10am-4pm & receive 5% off the first 5 Civil Ceremonies booked on the day to take place before 31/12/14.
Terms: T&C's apply

Valid until: Monday, June 24 2013
Planning consultant Andy Gutherson said: "The Hewsons have always said up to half of the site would be community space and the drawings will show this.
"It is a wonderful location, set in fields that can't be seen from Humberston Avenue."
The Save Our Fields campaign group vow to fight the proposals which come as Keystone Development's 400 homes plan is resubmitted for the Avenue after NELC rejected it last year.
Mr Gutherson added: "We recognise concerns will exist which is why residents still have a chance to shape this development and help create a quality scheme everybody can be proud of."

“The more cynical amongst us would jump to the conclusion that anybody spending £900,000 putting an access road in, whilst at the same time approaching all those residents whose gardens back on to the land offering huge sums of money, that the planning officials may be due a very long and expensive retirement.
Having seen a 400 house development rejected further down the road, you would expect Mr Hewson to be a very worried man. Instead, he would appear to be a little too confident in our honory planning officials.
Brown paper bags and Motorway Service Stations come to mind. Humberston Parish Council should be reminded that the United Kingdom operates an anti-bribery law.”

“Judging by the way they've demolished the house on Humberstone Avenue the Hewson family have little regard for the law. There'll be a few horses heads at the bottom of planning officers beds if they don't get permission granted.
They should be jailed.”

“I've been a builder for 50years. This happens all the time on a smaller scale. These people will get a small fine from the council. Then apply for planning to do a new road and houses. They wouldn't have gone to all this trouble if they wasn't sure about planning permission. It's not what you know but who you know. I agree with the previous comments that they will be driving new cars and booking holidays abroad. Nothing ever changes. Ivan Grimsby”
