TEENAGE Britain's Got Talent star Faryl Smith will be appearing at Cleethorpes' Meridian Park alongside "The Voice" Russell Watson this summer.

As reported, opera star Watson will perform a concert – That Glorious Noise – in aid of muscular dystrophy in July.

And organisers have now revealed that Classical Brit nominee Faryl will be one of the support acts.

She rose to fame in 2008's Britain's Got Talent, when at just 12 years old she wowed not only the notoriously hard-to-please judges, but a whole nation. She made it to the final, losing out to street dancer George Sampson.

Now aged 14, Faryl has two albums under her belt and a nomination for best album in the Classical Brits.

She will be joined by the versatile Emer McParland, a musician who boasts an impressive film soundtrack portfolio, including Sleepy Hollow and The Gangs Of New York.

Introducing the concert will be ex-Dr Who actor and major classical music enthusiast Colin Baker.

Russell Watson, an English tenor who has released both operatic and pop albums, will perform the concert in aid of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.

The concert is on Saturday, July 17.
