Humberside Police have today released these photofit images of the pair, who are wanted in connection with a violent robbery on a 51-year-old woman on Lord Street, Grimsby.

The incident happened at around 12.35am on November 15, 2012, after she had walked along Frederick Ward Way towards her home after visiting a cash machine on Victoria Street.

As she reached the grassed area of Lord Street, she was pushed to the ground and looked up to find two men standing close to her – one of which was holding a metal object – who then demanded money.

The other stole the her purse and went through it and, after she told the men she did not have any money, followed her to another cash machine whilst threatening her.

They were unable to get any cash from the women and she caught the attention of a passing group who came to her aid as the men made off in the direction of Pasture Street.

One of the men is described as white, around 5ft 9ins tall, slim build and aged in his early 20s. He was wearing a white ADIDAS jacket, with dark stripes down the sleeves and grey bottoms.

The other is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall and aged in his early 20s. He was wearing a light coloured top and a dark coloured baseball cap.

A number of enquiries have taken place and police have now compiled two electronic images of the men who they want to speak to.
