FUTURE parents from lesbian, gay, bisexual and transexual couples can get all the information they need from a special meeting today.

From 10am to 4pm St James House in St James Square, Grimsby, will be open in celebration of LGBT Adoption and Fostering Week.

North East Lincolnshire Council are encouraging people of all sexual persuasions to consider adopting and fostering.

An NELC spokesperson said: "The council recruits and assesses carers from a range of backgrounds with the same sensitivity and consideration in each case; this includes lesbian, gay, bisexual and transexual couples or single carers."
