Keep a log of unpleasant pong
RESIDENTS affected by the ongoing odour issues in Ingoldmells are being asked to keep a log of their complaints.
Although in previous years residents have forwarded their complaints to Anglian Water, East Lindsey District Council is now handling concerns for a formal investigation.
Environment team leader Anneliese Johnson said: “We know that local people have been keeping diaries for some time in relation to this issue and sending them to Anglian Water.
“However, it’s the district council that needs this information first hand so a formal investigation can take place, allowing actions to be agreed to resolve the issue if a problem is found.”

Once the complaint has been registered, the complainant is required to keep a diary of when the smell occurs and call the council.
