EXCITEMENT is building ahead of the Duchess Of Cambridge's visit to Grimsby – and messages are coming in from far and wide – including America.

The Grimsby Telegraph is collecting your messages to present to Kate, whose visit next Tuesday is among her first official engagements since her pregnancy announcement.

Habibah Haque said: "Welcome to Grimsby! I hope you have a tremendous day with us and please accept my best wishes on your pregnancy! Please visit us again soon."

And the DR Education Trust tweeted: "Everyone at Havelock Academy is getting excited about the Royal Visit. Less than a week now!!! #gykate"

The duchess is to visit the Fishing Heritage Centre, Peaks Lane Fire Station and Havelock Academy as part of her charitable work with the Prince's Trust, as reported.

    “I think the visit is great and id love to be able to meet you. i think you should also visit the hospital to see the building that princess diana (william mum) opened. it is nice that you both have a link to grimsby. i hope we can look through the fence and see you as my school is right next door.
