Sharing £13m investment

IN Lincolnshire, the schools earmarked to be rebuilt or refurbished in the first phase include Mablethorpe Primary and Nursery School, Sutton-on-Sea Community Primary School and Ingoldmells Primary School.

They will share in the county's £13-million investment in primary schools.

Coun Patricia Bradwell, executive councillor for Children's Services, said: "This transformational programme targets raising standards and improving teaching and learning, and aims to rebuild or refurbish half of all primary schools by 2022-23.

"It will help us to maintain and provide the best school facilities for the benefit of our young people and teaching staff."
