A new "planking" craze is sweeping the internet during the big freeze - posing naked in the snow (with modesty covered up, of course!) and posting the pictures online.

It apparently all started when Wiltshire care worker Leanne Myers posed with neighbour Danielle Smith to amuse her friends. But when she posted the photo on Facebook, it snowballed - and now everyone's doing it!
So have you joined in? We'd like to see how creative folk round here are when it comes to such a frosty challenge.

With guitars, tyres and snowmen (well, snow boys, really... it is cold, after all!) covering up people's modesty - and forecasters predicting a large snowfall over our area on Friday - we think some Grimsby fun is in order... but be careful of frostbite!

“Would I? No. Have I? Yes. When I was in Belgium it was quite normal to go to the sauna, then run naked across the snow and into the pool. There was something rather nice about the heat and shock of the cold which really freshened the body. There is something odd about the way people in the UK seem so horrified by the fact that they have a body.”
