1st Visit 24-03-2012

“Just moved to Louth and we were looking for something different when entering. We were welcomed in a vey friendly manner. I immediately liked the atmosphere and the smell of the Morrocan food. The Menu looked good, difficult to choose however...everything appeared good.Our entries were Feta with tomato and roasted bread, Hummus & Pawns. For mains we choose different thing; the Beef Mrouzia Tagine and my wife went fo the Fish Mix Tagine, when our daughter selected the Meat Balls with herbs. Togetehr with a nice Tunesian Red Wine we appreciated the visit very much and will surely return.
The conversation afterwards was very pleasant as well.

outstanding food .... it just melts in your mouth not to be missed.

“I have eaten here a few times and have always had lovely outstanding food every time, the staff are very friendly and noting is to much trouble. I took some of my friends this evening and. we had yet another great evening. I have recommend this restaurant to all my friends and look forward to eating here again very soon as I want to try everything on the menu because everything looks so nice.

Liked: Food, Service, Atmosphere, Value, the food and the service, all the is lovely I have eaten here a few times and always had great food ”

Excellent eating place!

“Myself and my partner visited on a week night and found the restaurant fantastic. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The menu, while offering selection, was not overpowering which was great when we choose our food. The prices for food and drink were very reasonable. We will definately be back...and back...and back! We loved it!”

Marrakesh a winner

“The Marrakesh is a winner. The proprietor is welcoming and friendly, the staff are curtious and the food is excellent. A great ambience. The food is freshly prepared from fresh local ingreditoents and the tastes are amazing. A great evening out. ”

Marrakech Staff

“I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all the staff at the Marrakech that I had the pleasure in working with. You all made it a happy and pleasant place to work and I couldn't of asked to work with a nicer bunch of people. I shall miss you all loads, but rest a sure that I am only a phone call away if you need my help in the future. I wish the Marrakech continued success for now and in the future.

Agree with every word

“I agree with everything people have written about Marrakech. Perhaps now the Louthpeople web master will remove the confusing 'Sorrentos' listing in the Louth restaurants page, which was at the same address, but closed over a year ago.
Oh! and the 'Upgates' restaurant, that closed many years ago!
(But I bet they don't!)”
