Henry Robinson's team victorious at Cleethorpes Golf Club event
HENRY Robinson's team emerged victorious in Cleethorpes Golf Club's Bank Holiday Mixed Social.
Robinson, along with Mary Robinson, Norman Hall and Linda Ramsey, pulled together to accrue a wonderful 126 net – way ahead of the rest of the field.

Second place was taken by John Bayliss, Gwen and Peter Farmery and Ann Lambert with 134 – and they were closely followed by Sue and Dave Colvin and Jan and Tony Dann with 137.
Meanwhile, club captain Derek Grant presented the winners of the Family Foursomes competition to mother and son team, Pat and Steve Williams.
The new Winter Mixed League winners, Jan and Tony Dann, were presented with their prize.
This new event proved extremely popular with three divisions being necessary, but the unfortunate snowy conditions made match organisation very difficult.
However, it is planned to run it again this coming winter.
The club's senior men played their August Stableford competition in the pleasant warm late summer sun.
The balmy weather attracted 57 competitors and some great golf resulted in Dave Rushworth taking first place in division one.
He pushed Trevor Knowles into second place on countback.
In division two, Peter Billam played some great shots to take first place with the runner-up being John Smith.
On Championship Day, 14 juniors competed for the Walter Dalton Cup, for the best gross score, and the Derick Raithby Cup, for the best net score.
The winner had to be decided by a play-off as Siddy Dick and James Gray tied with a gross 80.
It was the former who just had the edge and managed to take the Walter Dalton Cup and become 2010 champion.
Gray had to be content with the Derick Raithby Cup for a splendid 80-13-67.
Dan Watts took second place for the gross prize with an 83 and James Bocock took second place for the net competition with an 83-14-69.
Angus Gait won the nine-hole competition and Alex Crompton took second place. Dick was nearest the pin on the 11th and Jordan Reilly was nearest the pin on 17th.
At Elsham, 102 men played in the Charles Smith Trophy, a Stableford 18-hole competition with a maximum 18 handicap.
The outstanding performance of the day was undoubtedly from young Josh Neve, who scored an impressive 44 points and went round the course in gross 69.
In second place, with an excellent 41, was Jeff Slade. Three players had 39 points, with Malcolm Lea coming out on top after a countback from Barry Gardner and Graham Smith.
In the traditional Past Captains' Trophy competition the winner, with an impressive 38, was Mike Dennett.
In second place, on 35, was Brian Eaton and in third place on a countback was Terry Leaning.
At Sandilands, seniors played a home match against Immingham seniors.
Sandilands won 5-3. Winning pairings were Alan Dowley and Richard Parker, Bill Webb and Tony Lester, Brian Marks and Alan Metcalfe, Phil Knapton and Brian Eyers and David Wright and John Thompson.
At Kenwick Park, pairings of parents and siblings played a greensome Stableford competition for the Jack Vincent trophy.
Despite another wet and windy day, Chris and Michael Winney scored 38 points to win.
Dave and Lewis Hackett were runners-up with 37 ahead of Simon and Ashton Turner with 35.
At Louth, members played the second of the men's invitation competitions for the Walster trophy.
It was won by Steve Owens and his partner from Hessle, Fred Preston, with 45 Stableford points.
