The Mersey Beatles will bring Beatlemania back to Grimsby to celebrate 50 years since the release of chart hit Love Me Do in 1962.

The critically acclaimed band recently performed for The Duchess of Cornwall during her visit to Liverpool and, before heading off to Las Vegas, will bring a stunning two-hour show to Grimsby featuring a number of Fab Four hits.

Madness frontman Suggs heads to Scunthorpe’s Baths Hall with his hilarious one-man stage show, My Life Story in Words and Music.

In what will be his first performance in Scunthorpe, Suggs will tell the story of his 34-year career as a singer, actor, radio DJ and record producer in a show that is part play, part stand-up comedy and part music.

Poet, comedian and broadcaster Ian McMillan arrives at the Ropery Hall in Barton on Friday.

The writer, along with composer Luke Carver Goss and a group of musicians, promise an evening of eclectic songs including “powerful, echoing tales” of iPods, dads, 9/11, mining and the late Ronnie Barker.

An incredible night of traditional West African drumming, dance and song awaits when the Kakatsitsi Master Drummers from Ghana head to the Louth Trinity Centre.

The traditional African Master Drummers have previously performed their irresistible sound at Glastonbury and collaborated with Bob Geldof at the 2001 G8 summit.

It’s Hats Off To Led Zeppelin as a stunning tribute to one the greatest ever rock bands ever heads to Scunthorpe’s Plowright Theatre.

Liam Neeson returns to ratchet up the body count in action-packed sequel Taken 2 which is new in cinemas this week.

This time round, retired CIA agent Bryan Mills (Neeson) and his ex-wife Lenore (Famke Janssen) are tracked down by the father of one of the kidnappers he killed in the previous outing.

With Lenore taken hostage and his daughter (Maggie Grace) on the run, Bryan must once again use his lethal skills to rescue them and take out anyone seeking revenge against him.
