“ I well remember Broadburn`s chemists` way back when I was a school boy (and i`m 72 now) when my Dad was caretaker at Bursar St school before he moved on to Beacon Hill when it first opened. But old man Broadburn would often give us kids a stick of barley sugar twist or a pack of Horlicks tablets. As I got older I used to buy cinammon sticks and smoke at the back of the school bike shed (Thrunscoe) until I got caught and recieved a few stokes of the heads (Bartlett) cane. I don`t live in the area now, but i`m really pleased to learn Broadburn`s is still going. ”

Really lovely chemist
“Really lovely chemist. Staff always helpful and sometimes offer the chance to purhcase a prescriped item if it cheaper off the shelf. They often have a bargain basket full of discounted make up. From plasters to pet products, Broadburns has the lot.”

more than just a chemist
“living in cleethorpes most of my life i have often used this chemist for my perscriptions and general medical supplies, but did you know they also stock pet products? vaccine for you pidgeon? not a problem! Cats got worms? look no further! the staff are polite and discreet when it comes to matters of a private nature and the shop is very well stocked, so if you need some cream for a verruca or a bandage for your ankle- they have it all.”
