“ On Saturday April 28 the Ropewalk opened all its doors to the public to grant them a behind the scenes look at its extensive range of residents. The day was a great success, and a gallery of pictures from the day can be seen here: http://bit.ly/JI6Foo It was impressive to see the full length of The Ropewalk open, and to see inside the workshops of its many, illustrious residents. The cooking demonstrations from Nigel Brown were a real treat, as were the smells coming from the Mr Huda's Surma sauces stall. A great advert for both The Ropewalk and all those who call it home, the public showed great interest with a fantastic turnout throughout the day. ”

The Ropewalk is a regionally acclaimed centre for the arts with galleries, sculpture garden, coffee shop and Ropery Hall.
