Go on a stirring journey to the colourful world of Africa

VIVID costumes, circus art, foot-tapping rhythms and mesmerising acrobatics will transport you to the sunny world of Africa.

This energetic show, which promises a firework display of dancing, will land at the Grimsby Auditorium on Saturday, March 30.

So, why not lean back, relax, forget about the cold winter and enjoy the show of Mother Africa – the circus of the senses.

The performance takes audiences on a stirring journey to the colourful world of Africa and a celebration of its glorious attitude to life. Artists from nine different countries will put on a breathtaking show, having been trained at the renowned Circus College, established in Dar-es-Saalam, Tanzania.

The skills the college offers are taught for free and the most talented students are given the chance to tour the world with Mother Africa, which, for most of them, is a life-changing opportunity. More than one million spectators have been enthralled by Mother Africa on its tours of Europe, Australia, Africa, the Middle East and New Zealand during the past six years.

And it was a big hit on its UK debut at last August’s Edinburgh Fringe. Leading Edfest magazine said: “I don’t think a single audience member left unimpressed or disappointed.”

This is their first UK tour, so roll up, roll up and prepare to be amazed when the show arrives in Grimsby!

Mother Africa will come to the Grimsby Auditorium on Saturday, March 30 at 7.30pm.
