“ after seeing the review in the telegraph myself and my family decided to try this place. we now see that it is very different if you dont have a camera in your hand and are putting it in the paper. we were not a very big group (8 people) was seated quickly orders where taken and 30 minutes later starters arrived. we then had to wait 30 minutes for plates to be taken away and then a further 1 and a half hours for the mains (after asking twice and then threatening to leave) when meals did arrive the orders where wrong and then had to be corrected twice which ment our food was cold. the restaurant wasnt busy when we arrived and yet people who came in after us had eaten and paid the bill before we had got our mains. i cannot believe that the telegraph put such an incorrect review on the paper to mislead people. i think they should try eating here without the cameras and notebooks. we were very very disapointed with our experience here and i can now see many other people where too. one star for decor ”

Don't Bother Go Somewhere else !
“Myself and 5 other friends went for a long awaited catch up Saturday the 6th October and we wished we hadn't bothered. On arrival we got showed to our table and that's when the it went down hill, after waiting 20 minutes we went to find a waiter to order, a rude waiter took our order however we couldn't order drinks from him ! and he would send another waiter ? how absurd ! then after waiting no one arrived at our table so we went to the bar.

20 minutes after ordering the starters they came out however they had forgotten about the poppadoms, after waiting a further hour and after and complaining and chasing the waiters twice our mains came out we send back to of the mains as the chicken dishes were more sauce than meat very poor quality.
Through out our 3 hour fiasco the head waiter was making regular announcements that 2 guest were undertaking the man v food challenge (a mountain of spicy food to which if they completed it within an hour they would get it for free).We found the announcements very annoying and the whole waiting staff gave the challengers more attention than the paying guests.
In summary rude staff, mediocre food, very poor customer service in our opinion go spend your money somewhere else.” -

fiasco
“what a fiasco saturday night 21people turned up as requested 730,starters and mains ordered together,starters arrived some just luke warm ,some of the mains arrived nearly 3 hours later ,rice and chips did,nt come with meal hence when they did main meal was cold 5 people did,nt get a meal ,by this time other tables were walking out .when confronted the manager said we should of pre-ordered we did 3 hours ago,pubs can manage meals this size so why not the spice of life.we shall not be coming to your establishment ever again .GOODBYE.”

Poorly reheated chicken and sarcastic manager.
“Ordering what I was told by the waiter was a popular dish, I was looking forward to my minced chicken balls in spices.

Upon arrival, the outside of the chicken balls wre clearly hot, but upon taking a bite discovered the middle was cold (below room temperature). I explained to the waiter who returned it to the kitchen. 5 minutes later I was presented with a fresh serving. Sceptical as to how they had cooked this in 5 minutes, I sliced into the chicken balls - again still chilled.
At this point, I explained I didn't care to try a third time, but instead would like the bill. I was flabberghasted when they attempted to charge me for the uneaten naan bread and rice that I ordered as a side to my dish. After much negotiation, these were removed from the bill. During the entire discussion, my wife and I were subjected to sarcastic comments from the manager/owner. The main bone of contention being they felt I was unhappy with my meal, I felt the meal was not adequately cooked and therefore a food poisoning waiting to happen. ” -

“This family run restaurant offers an excellent standard of cuisine. It hosts excellent decor and friendly staff that are always at hand. The menu has variety to suit all pallets all dishes can be cooked to suit the individual tastes on request. This restaurant offers exceptional value for money and generous portions having experienced both restaurant and takeaway dining. Children are made welcome and nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend this establishment for any celebratory occasion large or small. One of the best restaurants in North East Lincolnshire.”

“must be largest restaurant in area top décor v.clean specially the wash room we just had our birthday there really really good large bar and seating area v. comfy staffs are top always with a smile”
