My daughter Megan Pearson recently went down to London for a photoshoot for a modelling agency called TeenQueen. The photographers then chose the best people to go through to the semi-finals where they have to recieve as many votes as they can in order to go through to the finials. Please would any of you vote for Megan. Its her dream and would mean the world to her if she went through to the next stage. All you have to do is text TQ14 to 81319 and then a vote will be added. Thankyou.

“No one has said she's ugly or anything.. In fact people have commented on how nice looking she is. She is clearly photogenic.. Well in the studio enhanced picture she looks a fresh face. What myself and others merely are questioning is the premise surrounding the company, competitions etc dealing with young children. There are lots of unsafe photographers about luring people into their studios.. But also loads of genuine ones. Anyone should do their research before signing up.. Even checking to see who clothing shops/catalogues use. If it is her dream.. She'll succeed. Fresh faces that don't need any retouching or photoshopping always do.”

“Yes, Megan may read these comments, but if mum wants to post pictures of her daughter on here she must have surely thought about this first. The real world of modelling is cruel, and if successful Megan can expect much worse than this. However, I doubt mum actually did think about this, only her own feelings of success when if daughter wins. Sad. Very sad.”

Do you really think that a 13 year old child knows what she wants to do with her life? It's silly to call it her 'dream'.

In reply Calypso, Yes they can and Why not?

At 13 I knew what I wanted to do and at 17 I followed that dream and went on to serve in the Royal Navy Submarine Service for over 18 years. So your statement is like a blunt pencil.... pointless.”

“It is quite clear from the photo that she has been tied to a post in someone's cellar and the photo has been taken against her will while she tries to hide her face.”

“I agree with a majority of the comments posted, especially from Talkingsense9. If this girl is serious about a career in modelling, go through the usual channels and do it safely.

She is a beautiful young lady who if taken down the right path, will do very well in the industry. Work hard and be prepared for many knockbacks, but one day you will get there.

Follow your dreams and the best of luck to you.”

    “GrimsbyTomo's comments:

I think you're probably right. I hadn't considered that Megan herself would be reading this, and now I feel really bad.

I really hope her Mum thinks twice about allowing her to take part in this sleazy competition, but sincere apologies to Megan, nevertheless.

I'm sure no-one here intentionally wanted to upset her.”

“seriously ,why are people blaming her mum about this ,its not even bad ,shes all covered up ,nothings on show ,so whats the problem in having a little photoshoot for fun ,people are so stuck up these days and into everyone buisness ,comments like welldone and stuff could of done ,not making a 13year old feel bad”

“this photo is georgous ,this was just abit of fun and megan got through.how sad has people got on here .your all horrible people should be like welldone, not having ago at her ,making her feel bad ,and how does she come across as sex you can only see her face .It would be different if she had her ***** out or was in a slutty position ,but shes just stood there ,innocent .If there was something wrong with this ,is it really any of your buisness anyway ?making a 13year girl feel bad for just trying something new ,i mean come on ,she knows her wrongs from rights ,and all covered up unlike the 13 year old sluts you see these day .stop picking on little kids okay ,some one the stuff you said could of really hurt her ,this is just a bit of fun ?”

“On the spectrum of tastefulness, this covers the range from simply 'not nice', passes through 'faintly disturbing', before it clatters to a halt at 'deeply disgusting'.”
