The website quoted Ella as saying: "Me and Dan actually went to the same college. We were in different years, so we sort of know each other. So it's just nice so we can relate to stuff – it's a friendship."
And asked whether there was any other budding romances going backstage, Jade Ellis replied: "We're all too busy concentrating on the show and having pillow fights and jumping on each others' beds.
"We are all paired in different rooms. We all go from one room to the other. So we're all sitting in one person's room then we'll run to someone else's."
Lucy added: "We're room hopping. Not like that...."
The website went on to tell how Little Mix has given Ella advice.
She said: "They gave me advice on how to be yourself and stay true to who you are."
And the Little Mix girls have been showing their support for Ella on Twitter.
The band's Jade tweeted during the weekend's latest show: "Watchin x factor ... some amazing talent ... still loving James and Ella! They give me chills :') xxjadexx"
Support on Twitter remains constantly strong for the teenager.
The Only Way Is Essex star Jessica Wright wrote: "@Ella__Henderson I'm a big fan of your voice! my fingers crossed for u! X"
4Music said: "#XtraFactor presenter @carolineflack1 cries every time she interviews emotional @Ella__Henderson. http://bit.ly/Pmp6Bc Are you an Ella fan?"
The X Factor's official Twitter account said: "Is there anything @Ella__Henderson can't sing? She'd probably have us crying to "Bob The Builder" or @Mr_Blobby... #XFactor"
And OK! Magazine wrote: "Woah, Ella Henderson really is AWESOME #xfactor"
Closer to home, Freshney Place shopping centre took to the social networking site to pledge their support.
"We're rooting for you Ella!" they posted. "YOU'RE AMAZING! Best of luck :)"
