Friday, November 14, 2008, 09:00

THERE is still time to bag tickets for a performance of top musical Oklahoma.

The show, to be held at the Grimsby Auditorium, marks the 100th anniversary of the Grimsby and Cleethorpes Operatic Society.

Publicity secretary Caroline Wright said: "It's the perfect show for the centenary, a good family musical.

"We're all excited about the anniversary – we have members who have been a part of the show anywhere up to 40 or more years."

The Rodgers and Hammerstein musical tells the tale of cowboy Curly McLain and his romance with farm girl Laurey Williams.

The show includes foot-tappers Oh What A Beautiful Mornin' and I Cain't Say No. Oklahoma runs at the Auditorium from Tuesday until next Saturday.

Tickets priced £9.25 to £15 are available from the Grimsby Auditorium box office.
