Having contacted someone in Parliament, a big-wig minister came down and stopped the procedure.

Is it possible for the committee to keep both the Scartho Baths pictured, and Ice Rink to write to the Sports and Leisure Minister in London and ask for his/her help in making our North East Lincolnshire Council see what the people of Grimsby really want?

“The government sports minister has advised the labour led administration to "listen" to the electorate ! The Save The Baths Group have been campaigning to have the Grimsby Swimming Pool refurbished or rebuilt at the present "centrally" located Scartho Road site . Even Cllr Chris Shaw said on Look North that site is "central" , that's what the petition has been about , location ,location ,location ! Vote for us at savescarthobaths.com - both of our MPs support the campaign and have been a boost to our efforts .”
